The Challenge:
Our client’s goal for this global event was to showcase multiple pieces of technology in a way that would captivate the audience and create high engagement in the ballroom. The theme, "Pardon the Interruption," inspired us to think beyond the box and create a disruption that was memorable, entertaining, and safe. RedHawt loves a good challenge, so…
Our Solution:
We conceptualized an unexpected and thrilling scenario that was more fun than a casino heist: During the CEO’s opening speech, the power suddenly went out! The "General Manager" of the hotel took the stage, announcing that a getaway car, fleeing the scene of a crime, struck a production truck, which then hit a utility pole. This production truck, coming from the set of "Oceans 14," caused a temporary loss of power and, to add further intrigue and anticipation, George Clooney was now missing from the set.
The CEO and his team were portrayed as heroes, utilizing their cutting-edge technologies to assist in solving the crime. This narrative allowed us to showcase the capabilities of their technology in a fun and interactive way through a “real time” scenario.
Instead of a traditional presentation, we employed a multimedia approach to demonstrate how the client’s technologies work together seamlessly:
● Traffic Light Cameras: Showed footage tracking the getaway car that we’d filmed on a Go-Pro
● Infrared Technology: Demonstrated its ability to locate the perpetrator when they took cover in a building.
● Maps and Geographic Locations: Guided the police to the criminals. Graphics were captured in tandem with the company’s graphic design artist
● Streetlight Cameras: Pre-produced footage allowed us to show how we tracked down the "missing" George Clooney.
● Scripting: The Executive Team followed a script co-created by Red Hawt and Hexagon. The Executives participated in several virtual and in-person rehearsals.
● Video Components: The entire show was “cut together” in a way that gave it a live effect while being well executed and put together prior to the event
● Voice Over Components: Red Hawt produced several prerecorded voiceovers that portrayed members of the local municipality, who were helping solve the crime.
At the climax, George Clooney lookalike joined the CEO and his team on stage, adding an element of surprise and delight to the audience. For attendees and for us, it was as fun a payoff as the final scene of “Ocean’s Eleven”. This dramatic and entertaining presentation effectively highlighted the integration and real-world applications of the client’s technologies.
Results:
RedHawt’s innovative approach on this event received high praise by both the audience and Hexagon’s leadership. The presentation not only entertained but also provided the sales force with a compelling and engaging way to demonstrate their products to customers and prospects.
The event was a tremendous success, leaving a lasting impression and showcasing the client’s technologies in a memorable and impactful manner. We’d like to believe that Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts were both a tad jealous to be left out of our storyline.
